Come and meet Family History ACT at the Seniors Expo

Have you been thinking about researching your family history but don’t know where to start? Perhaps you’ve already begun and have hit a brick wall, or you’d simply like to discover what resources and support are available to help you uncover more of your family’s story.

Come and meet Family History ACT at the 2026 ACT Seniors and Better Ageing Expo.

Our friendly volunteers will be on hand to chat about your family history interests and explain the many ways Family History ACT can help with your research. Whether you’re an absolute beginner or an experienced researcher, drop by our stall, say hello and find out more about our library and research resources, special interest and user groups, education sessions, workshops, meetings and other activities.

You may be surprised at just how much help is available — and how enjoyable family history research can be when you have others to share the journey.

If family history has been on your “one day I’ll get around to it” list, this could be the perfect opportunity to take that first step. Come along and have a chat with the Family History ACT volunteers — we’d love to meet you.
