2025 Family History ACT Annual General Meeting
When: Tuesday 4 November at 7pm. (In person at the FHACT Education Room, Cook Community Hub, Templeton Street, Cook, or online via Zoom].
All welcome. Members and guests interested in attending should register for this event here.
Family History ACT invites all members and friends to attend our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 4 November at 7pm.
This is a great opportunity to hear about the Society’s activities and achievements over the past year and to find out what is planned for the year ahead. We also invite members to consider volunteering for Council. Being part of Council is a rewarding way to contribute your skills, support the running of the Society, and help shape its future direction. Volunteering on Council is not just for long-time members – it would be great if a few new members could also put themselves forward to take on Council roles.
Please click on this link to read the Notice of the Meeting and to find the Nomination Form to join our Society Council. If you would like more information about the AGM or any Council roles, please email President Michele.
The AGM is not just about formal business – it’s a time to come together to celebrate our shared interest in family history and connect with fellow researchers. Whether you’re a long-time member or new to Family History ACT, we hope you will join us and enjoy a chat over a light supper – we look forward to seeing you there!
