To celebrate the opening of the new Charles Bean Research Centre and mark 80 years since the end of the Second World War – staff at the Research Centre at the Australian War Memorial are offering free behind-the-scenes tours to view the new archive, see treasures and original artefacts, and hear stories from the collection.
There are a range of tours on offer, each tour on a unique topic including Australian Women's Land Army, Australians in Britain in the Second World War, Personal Stories Gardening and Science Behind the Wire at Tatura, Digitisation Behind the Scenes, The Vyner Brooke Nurses, War Artists of Garden Island, Anzac Voices and Second World War Voices.

Time: All sessions start at 2 pm.
