Where They Walked: Using AI-enhanced Tools to Map Ancestral Lives.
Mapping is a powerful tool in genealogy, providing clear visual representation of ancestral movements, land ownership and family connection. This session will explore how AI-enhanced mapping technologies can simplify and enrich our research. Three speakers from our AI SIG will share practical examples of how they have used platforms such as Chatgpt, Mapsgpt, and similar tools to integrate mapping into their research. Whether tracking migration patterns, land ownership, or family networks, discover how AI can streamline complex tasks and offer new insights into where your ancestors lived, travelled, and built their lives.
