Monday 31st March at 7 pm – Exploring DNA – Presenter: Clare McGuiness.
Whether you’re new to DNA or looking to refine your skills, this course will provide a solid foundation for using genetic genealogy in your research.
Monday 7 April at 7 pm – Exploring the Big Four Databases – Presenter: Ann Peut.
The “Big Four” genealogy databases—Ancestry, Findmypast, MyHeritage, and FamilySearch. Each platform has distinct strengths, and this talk will explore how to leverage them effectively in your research.
Monday 14th April at 7 pm – Exploring Military Forebears – Presenter: Jo Callaghan.
Researching military ancestors can provide fascinating insights into their lives, service, and historical events they experienced. Understanding military history can also help place an ancestor’s experiences in context, providing a deeper appreciation of their contributions and sacrifices.
