Did your Ancestors work for the Railways?
The first railways in Australia commenced operations in Victoria in 1854 and were quickly followed by other states. The Railways kept excellent records, many of which have survived. They were major employers; many women can also be found in the personnel files.
Join special guest Therese Lynch as she discusses the tools available to trace your railway ancestors throughout their careers in Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania.
