New Heritage award for FHACT
12th February 2023
By Cheryl Bollard

Our Canberra Tracks Augmented Reality videos recently received a Significant Project award in the 2022 National Trust (ACT) Heritage awards.
Over the last two years Barb Toohey, Sue Pillans and their team of volunteers have produced 10 short videos on some of the local Canberra Pioneers. The Augmented Reality videos have been uploaded to ACT Heritage’s Canberra Tracks app and are seen by visitors to many heritage sites around our region. The videos include stories on places like Hall Cemetery and the Sacred Heart Church at Calwell as well as people like Flora Blundell, Harry Holland and the Curley’s of Mugga Mugga.
This project was supported with funding made available by the ACT Government under the ACT Heritage Grants Program.
Congratulations to Barb, Sue and the team!
The award will be presented by the National Trust (ACT) at our February Monthly meeting.
