FHACT’s newest Special Interest Group, the India SIG will have first meeting on 6 August 2022

We are pleased to announce the formation of a new Special Interest Group within Family History ACT.

The India Special Interest Group (India SIG) shares information and skills to research family connections in India. This includes, military, cultural, relationship, employment and British associations. Membership is open to any FHACT member who has an interest in researching family connections in India.

The India SIG will meet for the first time on Saturday 6 August 2022 (10am to 12 noon). The topic for this meeting will be Researching British India & F.I.B.I.S as a Resource and our speaker Dr Cathy Day will talk about her experiences in researching family history in British India and her long association with the Families in British India Society (FIBIS).
