Curious FHACTs Library Open Day
25th April 2022
By Engagement Committee
How long is it since you last visited the Family History ACT Library?
Join us between 10am and 2pm on Sunday 1 May to conclude our Heritage Festival activities and find out what is new in the Library. This event is open to everyone. There is no need to book - simply drop in when you can.
There is an interesting and informative program of free talks:
10am Searching Brian Maher Collection with Cheryl Bollard
10.30 Searching Trove with Jenny Higgins
11.00 NSW Early Church Records with Penny Pemberton
11.30 Pioneer Registers and Monumental Inscriptions with Barb Toohey
12.30 Basics of writing and publishing with Rosemary McKenzie with a display of members own published works
Tours of the Library will also be run on the hour.
And… there will be plenty of time to ask questions, chat, catch up, have a coffee with other members and visit the hallway display Fooling around in Flannels.
