Lifeline Canberra Bookfair coming soon
19th January 2026
By Engagement Committee
Book lovers are invited to one of Canberra’s most popular events — the Lifeline Canberra Bookfair — returning to Exhibition Park in Mitchell from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 February.
With a gold coin donation entry, visitors can browse a huge selection of books and magazines, covering everything from fiction and non-fiction to specialist interests and hidden treasures. You’ll also find pamphlets, sheet music, comics, maps and atlases, talking books, records and CDs, DVDs, games and jigsaws. It’s a wonderful opportunity to stock up on reading material while supporting Lifeline’s vital work in our community.
Members of Family History ACT (FHACT) will once again be lending a hand, assisting shoppers in the Family History and People’s Stories sections of the fair. If you have an interest in genealogy, local history, memoirs or biographies, be sure to stop by and say hello.
Opening hours:
Friday 6 February: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Saturday 7 February: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Sunday 8 February: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
See all the information on the Lifeline website.
