Speaker Bio:

Cheryl Bollard has been a dedicated genealogist for many years and has been a member of FHACT since 2018. She has served on the FHACT Council since 2019 and is currently the treasurer. Cheryl holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Heraldry, Genealogy, and Paleography from the University of Strathclyde, a BA (Adult Education), an Advanced Diploma in Family, Local, and Community History and a Diploma of Family History

Cheryl has recently submitted her thesis for an MSc in Genealogical, Paleographic, and Heraldic Studies at the University of Strathclyde. Her thesis, entitled "How can Artificial Intelligence (AI) be used to empower genealogists in their research?" explores the transformative potential of AI technologies in the field of genealogy. With her extensive experience and academic background, Cheryl is at the forefront of integrating advanced technologies into genealogical research.
