Torchlight Tours Of St John’s Churchyard
When: 15, 16 & 17 April 2024
As part of the ACT & Region Heritage Festival, you are invited to join a guided walk through St John’s Churchyard and view the remarkable headstones of the early pioneers by torchlight and learn the stories of those buried at this magnificent site, which pre-dates the Canberra we know today by over 70 years!
Meet at the Church Lychgate, 108 Constitution Avenue Reid.
Tours are approximately 1½ hours in duration. Commencing at 7.00 pm
Bring with you - Torch - warm jacket - hat. (Autumn evenings in Canberra can be chilly)

Tour groups limited to 20 participants. As the cemetery is dark with uneven ground a level of fitness is required
