Scottish Special Interest Group meeting is a  Hybrid meeting for members with an interest in researching their Scottish ancestors Members should purchase a ticket to attend this event via Zoom or in-person.

The topic for this meeting is:

"Running a world-wide Scottish name database"

Bruce MacLennan is the genealogist of the MacLennan Clan Society. He administers the 65,000 person database of MacLennans (and its variants) in historical Scotland and around the modern world.  He'll cover the research and organisational aspects of such a rich resource for us all. The database is free to search but membership offers a great deal more.
