Irish SIG Meeting (Register)
The Irish Special Interest Group Meeting is a hybrid meeting for members with an interest in Irish genealogy. Members should purchase a ticket to attend this event either in person or via Zoom.
The topic for this meeting is:
"Research Travels in Ireland"
Jennifer travelled from Belfast to Dublin, via Strokestown Park in County Roscommon and Baltinglass in County Wicklow. The primary reason was to learn more about her Irish ancestors who migrated to NSW in the 1840s. But she learnt so much more than expected, just by using one essential research method.
Jennifer will discuss the challenges and rewards of her recent travels to Ireland to research her family history.
