What happens to our media items and sources when syncing FTM with Ancestry trees?

One of the attractions of using Family Tree Maker is its ability to sync a tree with an online tree at Ancestry using a feature called FamilySync. However, while most tree data syncs between Family Tree Maker and Ancestry, differences exist due to their distinct formats. A full list of these differences can be found in Appendix 1 of the Companion Guide. Media items are only partially synced. While sources and source citations are fully synced, Ancestry and Family Tree Maker structure these differently and members may not always be satisfied with the results. During this meeting we will focus on what happens with our media items and sources when we sync our trees.
