The English & Welsh Special Interest Group Meeting is a hybrid meeting for members with an interest in English or Welsh genealogy. Members should purchase a ticket to attend this event either in person or via Zoom. After registering to attend via Zoom you will receive an email with a link to the external Zoom website to complete the registration.
The topic for this meeting is:
"More Occupations"
In 2024 we had a popular meeting in which members told us about metalsmiths, Devonshire stirrup makers, gold stampers, enamellers, verderers, gunsmiths, fitting & turning, inn keeping, rope-making and chandlers. What other occupation might you have researched? Have you found something weird and wonderful? Or traced an ancestors' career through an apprenticeship to profession? Share what you've learned with other members...
