Writers SIG (Information)
Writers Special Interest Group meeting is a hybrid meeting to encourage members in writing and sharing family history in many formats and approaches. Members should register to attend this event by logging in and selecting the event with "(Register)" in the title.
The topic for this meeting is :
"Writing memoir, near and dear"
In preparation for the competition season – SAG's Croker Prize and our own E.M. Fletcher award – let's talk about the challenges or advantages of writing about ourselves or people we’ve met versus writing about people we’ve never met. Betty O'Neill, Sydney-based author of "The Other Side of Absence" will be joining us. Come along for a cuppa, SIG members will showcase their own work, and we'll have a general chat about the meeting theme.
If you are interested in this event you might also be interested in the many other benefits of membership. See Membership Benefits for member benefits, or go straight to Join or Renew to join.
