Family Tree Maker SUG (Information)
The Family Tree Maker Software User Group Meeting is a Zoom meeting for members with an interest in using Family Tree Maker software for their genealogy research. Members should register to attend this event by logging in and selecting the event with "(Register)" in the title.
The topic for this meeting is:
Exploring the Sources Workspace
During this meeting, we will explore the Sources Workspace in FTM. It will be a practical hands-on session with meeting participants encouraged to try things out in their program on their own computer as the meeting progresses. There will also be some practical tasks for members to do after the meeting in order to reinforce our understanding of the features and procedures available in this workspace.
In order to prepare for this meeting, we strongly advise that members create 'a play tree.'
This will give members the freedom to experiment with the program without concerns about introducing errors into their main data file.
As usual, there will also be time for members to raise any other questions about using FTM.
If you are interested in this event, you might also be interested in the many other benefits of membership. See Membership Benefits for more information or go straight to Join or Renew.
