The TMG Down Under meeting is a hybrid meeting for TMG Down Under members with an interest in using The Master Genealogist project manager and related software for family history research. Members should register to attend this event by logging in and selecting the event with "(Register)" in the title.

The topic for this meeting is:

Arthur Edgar: Researching Australian military rolls and indexes

A journey through Australian military rolls and indexes since Federation. From the cadet and citizen forces to the 1st and 2nd AIF and the post-war conflicts. What's included, what might not be. How reliable are the rolls?

Some websites you may not have considered and some suggestions on words for your TMG database.

Plenty of opportunity to lodge questions on the chat line and to contribute your own experience researching and documenting military people.

If you are interested in this event you might also be interested in the many other benefits of membership. See Membership Benefits for member benefits, or go straight to Join or Renew to join.
