FHACT Monthly Meeting (Register)
FHACT June Monthly Meeting is a hybrid meeting. Members and guests interested in attending should register for this event via Zoom or in person. After registering to attend via Zoom, you will receive an email with a link to the external Zoom website to complete the registration.
The topic for this meeting is: "Australian Women's Archives Program."
The Australian Women’s Archives Program (AWAP) is a unique and authoritative resource for information about women in Australian history and society. It was created in 1999 as a partnership between the National Foundation for Australian Women and the University of Melbourne and has two main areas of activity. Firstly, it supports original research on the lives and contributions of individual women and women’s organisations and makes that information available through the online Australian Women’s Register (www.womenaustralia.info). Secondly, AWAP encourages women and women’s organisations to preserve their history by depositing records in collecting institutions for the benefit of future generations.
