English & Welsh SIG (Information)
The English & Welsh Special Interest Group Meeting is a hybrid meeting for members with an interest in English or Welsh genealogy. Members should register to attend this event by logging in and selecting the event with "(Register)" in the title.
The topic for this meeting is:
"Coal Mining Social History"
Many of us will have found a coal mining ancestor in England or Wales. David Wintrip and Nina Johnson will discuss topics such as the migration of miners, the living and working conditions of miners plus useful sources. We'll use examples from the north of England and the valleys of southern Wales.
If you are interested in this event you might also be interested in the many other benefits of membership. See Membership Benefits for member benefits, or go straight to Join or Renew to join.
