The India Special Interest Group meeting is a hybrid meeting for members with an interest in researching family history related to India. Members should purchase a ticket to attend this event by logging in and selecting the event with "(Register)" in the title.

The topic for this meeting is:

"Finding Clara - Solving a British India Family Mystery"!

At this meeting our group member, New India SIG member Sean Kelly will share his experiences breaking down a formidable brick wall to identify his great-grandmother, about whom his family new little more than her given name.  Using a combination of on-the-ground research, DNA profiling, development of theories, accumulation of evidence and the deductive reasoning techniques of a detective, Sean not only conclusively identified Clara, but discovered a whole new British India family story.

If you are interested in this event you might also be interested in the many other benefits of membership. See Membership Benefits for member benefits, or go straight to Join or Renew to join.
