Irish SIG Meeting (Information)
The Irish Special Interest Group is an enthusiastic group of members who are keen to share their knowledge of Irish research and resources with fellow members. Members should register to attend this event by logging in and selecting the event with "(Register)" in the title.
The topic for this meeting is:
The early stages of the English Plantation of Ireland
The talk will cover the requirements to be undertaken for the land and building redevelopments with special emphasis on the Northern Counties of Ireland. My heavy use of maps and numerous illustrations will easily explain the enforcement of English Power through the Conquest and Occupation of the Irish Landscape.
