Victorian Tasmanian and NSW Railways

Therese Lynch will be our guest speaker talking about The Victorian Railways started operations in 1854 NSW began 1855, Tasmania in 1872, they became a major employer in the State including a significant number of women. The Railways kept excellent records, many of which have survived.
