The Short Sea: the Irish in Scotland 1790-1840

The Short Sea was the name given to the sea crossing fron Donaghadee in Ireland to Portpatrick in Scotland and thousands of Irish made the journet each year, for work, marriage or study. This presentation shows some of these activities and where to find more information.
