The Heraldry Special Interest Group Meeting is for members with an interest in Heraldry. Members including registered Heraldry SIG members should register to attend this event by logging in and selecting the event with "(Register)" in the title.

The topic for this meeting is:

Heraldry of the Puritan Monarchy.

Following the failed English parliamentary republic from 1649 – 1653, the Protectorate of Oliver Cromwell and his son Richard from 1653 – 1659 was, in essence, a Puritan monarchy which saw further reforms to the Church of England and the ancient royal institutions.  This presentation focuses on the heraldry of this turbulent period.
