The DNA SIG meeting is a hybrid meeting for members with an interest in DNA for their genealogy research. Members should register to attend this event by logging in and selecting the event with "(Register)" in the title.

The topic for this meeting is:

DNA and ethnicity

Dr Cathy Day will give a presentation covering the basics of human racial variation, what DNA testing can tell us, why the different DNA companies sometimes give different results, why the results within a single company appear to change, and how ethnicity can be used to help trace family history

Members are invited to bring their questions and queries about DNA and ethnicity, for group discussion
