Where They Walked: Using AI-enhanced Tools to Map Ancestral Lives
Mapping is a powerful tool in genealogy, providing a clear visual representation of ancestral movements, land ownership and family connections. This session will explore how AI-enhanced mapping technologies can simplify and enrich our research. Three speakers from our AI SIG will share practical examples of using platforms such as Chatgpt, Mapsgpt, and similar tools to integrate mapping into their research. Whether tracking migration patterns, land ownership, or family networks, discover how AI can streamline complex tasks and offer new insights into where your ancestors lived, travelled, and built their lives.
