Aims
We begin with 1788 and explore the New Settlement Are you looking for your early ancestors How did they arrive , Their way of life, occupations Where did they live Do you have an elusive ancestor, There are many areas of our early history yet to be explored, Convicts, Military, Free Settlers , Early Squatters, Wills and Probates, Land Records, Directories Shipping, Birth Death Marriage Records, Colonial Secretary Records, State Records and many records held by FHACT to name but a few. We would love to have your company, and be able to help you. This group concentrates on Australian Records, and we advise to what SIG/SUG would also be able to help you further your research.
Meeting Time
This SIG meets at 2pm on the fourth Sunday of each odd-numbered month. We meet in the Family History ACT (FHACT) Education room at Cook.
